The NSW Medical Board has considered it necessary to impose the following conditions on the practitioner's registration to protect the health and safety of the public under the provisions of section 66 of the Medical Practice Act 1992. The matters giving rise to the conditions has been referred to the Health Care Complaints Commission for investigation as a complaint and these conditions will have effect until the complaint about the practitioner is disposed of, or the conditions are removed by the NSW Medical Board.

Practice Conditions

1. Dr Zacharia must not possess, administer, prescribe or supply the following drugs:
Anastrozole (Arimidex) or its pharmacological equivalent;
Clomiphene citrate (Clomid) or its pharmacological equivalent;
Chorionic gonadotrophin (Pregnyl) or its pharmacological equivalent;
Human Growth Hormone preparations; or
Anabolic/Andronergic steroids.

3. Dr Zacharia authorises and consents to any exchange of information between the NSW Medical Board and Medicare Australia or the Pharmaceutical Services Branch of the NSW Health Department where such exchange is necessary to facilitate the monitoring of compliance with these conditions.
