
Specialist - Further Training 7(1)F registration is available to IMGs who have a specialist qualification and experience that have been assessed by the Australian Medical Council and the relevant Australian Specialist College to require a period of practice under peer review (maximum 2 years) to achieve equivalence to an Australian specialist qualification.
Assessment application
- Assessment is carried out by the relevant Specialist College via the Australian Medical Council process.
- Requests for assessment should be directed to the Australian Medical Council.
- Registration as a Specialist - Further Training 7(1)F is dependent upon the outcome of the Specialist College's assessment.
